--Effective charity is measured by how many people no longer need it, not how many more it can be given to.

Charity is personal, tax dollars should be limited at best. All current tax dollar funded programs need to be a SHORT TERM program, not for life unless a person is truly disabled.

The private sector does a much better job of providing charity than the government can. It is also a matter of personal choice. through taxes you and I are donating to an organization we don't agree with.
