--THE 16th AMENDMENT- Needs to be changed to state that the tax percentage must be the same for all. Current-- The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration. This amendment is the most abused amendment we have. It
gives the government too much power and truly distracts people from other
important issues. It is used to punish the hard working and reward the non
working. |
