PRINCIPLES are the basis by which all decisions are made I will never trade my liberty for security, because liberty is my security. Rod Rieger 06-2009 JOBS JOBS JOBS Get the government out of the way Rod Rieger is a fiscal conservative with the firm belief that small government is the better alternative to large government oversight. Budget and government transparency is crucial. Citizens need to be informed about the cost of government and where their tax dollars are being spent. Subsidies need to be phased out. Pork barrel spending should be greatly curtailed. Washington State should lower taxes and cut spending to help Washington become more business friendly, bring companies and work into Washington, rather than forcing them out. Rod also believes the State should further explore less conventional teaching methods and tools such as; speed reading and proven memorization techniques. He also believes more emphasis should be placed on teaching the State and US constitutions and the Declaration of Independence He believes this is of great importance for our states and nation. Rod will never trade his liberty for security, because liberty is his security.
